So are honor killings, jackass. It may be ok to kill women in your ****ed up country, but you can't get awaay with it here. Living in Ohio for a while, and having family there, he wouldn't get any sympathy from them, and I can't imagine him getting much more from any of the other residence.

By the very nature of Death Row, you reall don't have anymore rights. You are the Condemned.

PS: The Jewish Inmate is not on death row, is he? Bad comparison, and I hope this case is dropped on it's head.

Doesn't really matter whether he's on death row or not, if it's in the same prison and they do kosher meals, he's right.  They are both equally stupid rules and I'd say :bird: to both Jewish and Islamic prisoners on this.

The part that frosts my cake on this is the drum beat of the never-ending PC mantra.

From a purely legal standpoint, of course DAT is correct. You can't do for one group of minorities and not do something similar for the other. That wouldn't be fair [insert nasal, sneering, whiney voice here].

Not to put too fine a point on it again, but **** 'em. Then feed 'em whatever is cheapest. Van Camps Pork & Beans comes to mind.

Here's a tip.  If you don't want to be forced to live in an institution that takes away your freedom of choice when it comes to chow time, don't commit crimes that cause you to be locked up.  I have managed to remain a free white male for the past 48 years with the freedom to eat whatever I want whenever I want merely by obeying the law.  It isn't that hard to do.
