You know why I don't consider myself racist, despite all your best efforts to label me as such, ever shriller, ever louder with each failed attempt?
--Because I don't care what color a person's skin is when I work with them. I ask myself if they're willing to learn what I teach them, or if they can teach me. If they have no desire to learn or impart their knowledge, I have no use for them.
--Because success to me means how they've got there on their own merits, rather than the failed half-century of policies that still try to paint certain groups as inferior and unable to achieve even the barest levels of success without the "help" of a government that in reality only cares about creating a permanent dependent class. Success means independence, not dependence.
--Because the people I know and associate with take failure in stride, attempting to learn from their situations when they come up short, and work around those or overcome them the next time they attempt something, rather than blaming their failures in life on someone or something they've never met or experienced.
See, you hate Herman Cain because he represents all the success you think you are entitled to, yet you are willing to perform none of the difficult work to reach those goals. He has achieved, not because of handouts, but because of his own efforts. I've no doubt he's encountered idiots and racists along the way, and God bless him for having the good sense and good attitude to overcome those obstacles. You know why he's a conservative, DUmmies? Because he depends on HIMSELF, not you.
