47. No, that's actually exactly what you said.

Joe really gives lonestarnut hell about not wanting to pay taxes, so much so that LSN has many deleted posts.

Damn stupid DUmmies just don't get it.

The whole purpose of lonestarnut's thread is to make the DUmp losers believe she has property that can lose $100K in value.

Her motivation is exactly the same as Pam's when she describes her cruises, or posts photos of the skinhead's Glock - make DUmp losers aware of their failed lives, and rub their noses in her prosperity.

It's a fantasy, of course, since lonestarnut is well known at the DUmp as a pathological liar.

But the DUmmies are too damn stupid to know when they are being insulted. Instead, they start a spitting, snarling brawl over public schools vs. charters.

I don't think the lonestarnut primitive pays enough taxes.

I think she should be specially taxed ten times more than that.

It's called "putting your money where your mouth is," and the lonestarnut primitive has a big mouth, always yapping about how those who have, should share with those who haven't.

My school taxes are due at the end of the month.  They INCREASED 43 ****ING PERCENT.  I don't have the money, will have to pay in installments.  Welcome to ****ing New York.  I want OUT.  Screw these do-nothing teachers who churn out boatloads of dumbasses year after year, then retire in cushy luxury in a warmer, cheaper state.

Holy shit!  What school district is this?  They only went up 3.5% in my district (they already are too damned high).

Maybe she can just hook her "house" up to the truck and haul it to a lower taxed jurisdiction.

We actually did lose $100k (actually it was over $100k) on our house in stupid ass California (bought it Aug 2009 for $940k and sold it July 2011 for $838k and we did some improvements during those two years- paint the outside and inside, replace carpet and remodel a bathroom). BUT that was over a two year period. There aren't too many places in the US where your house could lose $100k in a years time. Especially because pretty much everyone's houses have already lost a ton before this last year.  Unless this DUmmie has a house that started out over a million, but this is a DUmmie we are talking about.

refusing to pay taxes means teachers don't get paid

If teachers don't get paid the kids don't learn

If the kids don't learn they have no future

If they have no future they are condemned to poverty

If they are condemned to poverty they will suffer from drug abuse, crime and poor health

If they suffer from drug abuse, crime and poor health then the people refused to pay taxes have effectively killed them

onesorrynut killed them

onesorrynut is a terrorist

Or so I'm told.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Nope, making other people paying taxes is patriotic.

If property taxes go up 20% should not a teacher's share of paying into their own pension go up an equivalent 20%. That would be fair in my book. We all have been told how there needs to be fairness and shared sacrifice.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Yeah, I've about had it with hearing about how this country was founded on "fairness and shared sacrifice".  Obama has said it about 20 times in the past week.  It's wrong.  It was built on freedom and hard work.  The colonists that came here and tried shared sacrifice died of starvation.

Apparently at the UN Obama said peace is hard about a million times. He sure has a one track mind. "peace is hard" "the rich aren't paying their fair share" "Buffett pays less in taxes than his secretary" and "everything is Bush's fault".

Anybody is going to have a tough time convincing me that 0bama has anything more than a mediocre 100+/-5 IQ.

It's a combo of overall increased school budget (of which "benefits" line item in the mailer was astronomical), and home improvement.  Damn vultures drive around in their cars looking for major projects.  They give you a call if they see something like scaffolding.  "Whatcha doin over there?"  "Trying to keep the place vertical."  "I see."

The thread over there is a hoot, lots of squabbling.  And name removed.

Lonestarnaut, the anger and frustration you're feeling?  That's the reason for the Tea party.

77. Ya know

if my property value declined by 100k they'd be paying me to frickin live here.

Still, my property taxes have more than doubled in the last 6 years.

Property tax and homeowners insurance on a small 60 year old home plus auto insurance on a 10 year old car driven less then 7,500 miles annually runs me over 6k annually. And I do not have any accidents or claims on record and have some discounts in place.

My personal opinion is that the only people who ought to be permitted to vote on matters regarding real estate taxes are the people who pay the taxes. The area here has become dependent upon using these taxes for many, many other things than just K-12 public education.

Lousy freeper troll.
