On the off chance someone noticed I was MIA, here are some pics...

of our weekend at the West Virginia Dance Festival.   We had a good time, LONG days, not in bed before 11, and that was early!

we were the only ones in the green room one afternoon, and some of the girls were having fun posing

there are tons more, too.

And we leave again on Wednesday for another weekend of fun!

The outfit is for this coming up weekend...I'm sure I won't be as dressy as some, but I think I'll be OK.

Our girls actually looked quite presentable and lovely, compared to some who were there.  I was amazed at the lack of respect shown to the Master Instructors with some of the things these girls wore to class.  I actually took some pictures of "appalling dress" distasters because I was so in shock.    I may roll my eyes sometimes about how picky our director is, but I much prefer erring on the side of pickiness than slovenliness.

BTW, I read this thread title as "On the off chance someone noticed I was MIA, here are some pics..."  Not M-I-A.  I was like what the heck is Flame talking about.  LOL

That's a sweet looking bunch of kids.  Not sure why they are worshipping the Turtle God in that first pic, but hey, it's a free country.
