Doesn't Keynesian economics depend on trickle-down and mulitiplier effects as well, my stupid and unsophisticated little DUmmie, with their main difference from free market economics just being who is injecting the money into the system - fake Government-supported markets, or real supply and demand?

And it is also painfully apparent that you do not understand the difference between political philosophies and economic philosophies.

I've only read bits and pieces of Keynes.  Our graduate economics class did not touch Keynes with a 10 foot pole, seeing as how we had a decent conservative professor.  He said there was enough to cover without studying failed theories, lol.

That said, even Keynes wasn't actively hostile toward businesses.  He merely wanted to smooth out business cycles.  Democrats today claiming to carry Keynes' banner are actively hostile toward businesses, all the time.  They don't want business cycles because there shouldn't be businesses.  Only government.

I second the sentiments.  Enthusiastically.

I'll endorse said sentiments as well, with the caveat that I want the DUmb**** to succeed.
"Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of Liberty." - Thomas Jefferson

"All you have to do is look straight and see the road, and when you see it, don't sit looking at it - walk!" -Ayn Rand

"Those that trust God with their safety must yet use proper means for their safety, otherwise they tempt Him, and do not trust Him.  God will provide, but so must we also." - Matthew Henry, Commentary on 2 Chronicles 32, from Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Whole Bible

"These anti-gun fools are more dangerous to liberty than street criminals or foreign spies."--Theodore Haas, Dachau Survivor

Life is simple if you follow a few rules. Get a decent education for free while you can. Do your homework and don't drop out. After that either pick a skill people will want to pay for either in a trade school or a degree. Don't spend your life in the bottle or on drugs or partying every night in your 20s. Try to save up a bit and don't spend money on every new toy that comes out. Pay your bills on time. TRY NOT TO MARRY A ASSH***. If you are still working as a cashier or a waitress in your 40s that is NOT the fault of some rich guy some where.
