They just dump sewage in the water there? That's what I'm lead to believe.
Compax, we do have a thing called red tide that heads our way every year. Some kind or microbe that causes the clam and oyster beds to shut down. Very dangerous and for a long time back the saying to never eat either is in a month that has no [R ??] in it, or the other way around, I never eat a living thing anyways.
Then the fact that the tide and flooding is sweeping into homes and liberating house hold chemicals, garages with toxic oils and antifreeze, paint shops that loose their chemicals, all goes into the sea, lakes or water run off.
Lord knows what the land pours into the water table from this stuff. Human sewage can be a problem when the sewage plants cannot handle the water.
We have known that for 150 years that flood waters can cause Leprosy, Typhoid and a host of interesting germs to die from.
That picture of the reporter covered in sea foam is a tweaks. We still do not know what kind of shit washed up on the beaches of Alaska,,, lots of guesses but it was down right creepy. 2 weeks or so ago??
Small towns with no city sewage are at high risk from septic tanks rising to the surface, farmers with manure piles that get washed out------- Leash fields unable to handle the water.
Flooding even a very heavy rain causing just one foot of water is a risk to walk into.
Major problem for us is what to do with the things civilization leaves behind.
I still believe a theory from years ago that the dinosaurs died out from the huge methane hills they left behind them and just one spark to their dump ground would have gone off like a big bomb.
Those 5 ton beasts did not leave behind rabbit turds.
Sorry folks, I went off subject, just came in from cleaning up after 3 little dogs, anyone ever have to clean a chicken coop, shovel out a horse barn ?????
The biggest threats to humans is their own waste, not just human but the waste we have in today's world.
Still do not know what to do with nuclear waste, or pesticides, or even used disposable diapers.
I hope this reporter received all inoculations know to man after that Photo.
