Most people would move heaven and earth to help a sibling - the first time, and probably the second, but somewhere you have to draw the line.

I wonder if this unemployed brother has perhaps been helped before and betrayed the trust.

If you use your influence to get someone a job, and he turns out to be a drunk, or a thief, or just a typical lazy democrat,
it reflects on your judgement. For self-preservation you have to pull the plug.

Sending someone to Maxine Waters sounds like plug pulling.

A guy worked for me that looked the part of your typical DUmmie doper. He had begun work with me as a second job years ago. He got laid off from his other job and I became his sole employer for a few years. His wife never held a job and he was raising 2 kids. I encouraged him to apply for a job at a new place that was opening in our area. He was reluctant to apply because he didn't meet the requirements, education/etc. that he didn't have. A few minutes before they were supposed to interview him for a job, a lady called and was asking me about him. I told her the truth that he was still going to be working for me during the week and that he had for 25 years worked 2 jobs. She sounded hesitant to hire him but I told her, "Hire him. He will make you a good worker. There's just one thing, he doesn't like to bothered with a bunch of BS. Just tell him what to do and leave him alone."

They hired him and a couple of months later the lady called one night and asked if I knew of any more like him. She wanted to hire anyone I'd recommend. I didn't know any more that were as willing to work as he was. He's been there 15+ years now and has moved up in the company despite his lack of "formal" education.

I've gone out on a limb for someone a couple of times and then they sawed it off behind me....maybe Col, Wests' brother has sawed the limb off a few times while the Col. was on it.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin
