Well, she can still do prOn. Some people like "fatty" vids............. :panic:

If she does land a career in porn, it will be due in no small part to the advent of wide screen television sets.

I feel a bit sorry for her.  She has got to be embarrassed by all that weight gain especially at her age.

I agree.  I gained weight in college as well, and it is really hard being that age and overweight.  I never reached Ava's size but I'm not going to mock her for her weight, and I'm sad that so many here have decided to so.

Fair enough, CR, but considering that's TAME compared to how the left treats us, well, sauce for the goose, so to speak.

Yeah, I feel SLIGHTLY guilty for having gone the "fish in a barrel" route, but not enough to take it back.  Certainly not after some of the shit I've been personally exposed to for simply having a differing opinion.

I just can't muster any pity for someone whose problems are entirely self-inflicted, particularly when they manifest their internal ugliness in other ways like her transparently-stupid propaganda projects.

I used to be severely overweight.  In fact, I was overweight most of my life.  I finally took control and lost 80 pounds.  I'm about 15 pounds away from seeing my abs for the first time in my life.  And the entire time I was overweight, I still laughed at fat jokes.  I used to make excuses, blame it on genetics or not having enough time or whatever else I could come up with.  If I can do it, most everyone else can, too, if they want to.  It's 90% mental.

I completely see your point.  But, having been a fatass for 20+ years, I feel I've earned it, lol.

She is still young enough that I blame her mother for some of her issues  :-) She spent her teen years making political videos, traveling to political protests, and being homeschooled rather than spending time with kids her own age.  She only what, 21 now?  Hopefully once she is out of the echo chamber academic environment she'll grow up some and take steps to fix her weight.

I hope you're right, perhaps she will become wiser but prospects on that look pretty grim.  You certainly have a loving heart, CR.

I'm usually not one to harp on weight, but DU sees absolutely nothing wrong with allowing post after post ridiculing Chris Christie for his weight. That makes every single DUmbass fair game, as far as I'm concerned, and ESPECIALLY when you think back over the years at the get-together pics they post. HEIFERS.

If they won't police their own, I'll point out fatasses when I see them. And Ava is a PORKER in the extreme. I wish her ill.

Well, see, she was just so vastly superior to people her own age, it wouldn't have worked out. Her parents, and all the fawning moonbats told her so.
They all told her those silly Bush-hate videos were something special, and she believed them.
I guess now that the Bush-hate genre doesn't work, she's changed over to America-hate, and dozens of Big Macs, and pounds of bacon, and lots of Slurpees.
Way back in the Bush days, she should have listened to us. Today, she might be getting a useful education, and not be a human lard bucket.

Well now, madam, don't be so harsh, please.

There's lots and lots of fat primitives on Skins's island, and some overweight people where the Las Vegas Lardass hangs out now.....but please notice decent and civilized people are, uh, rather selective about which ones we mock.

Once a primitive politicizes his or her plight--such as what the Las Vegas Lardass had done, blaming George Bush and Republicans for his quarter-tonnage--it's a different story.

The same for the mentally-ill primitives, or the primitives with other afflictions.

We're very nice people here, and leave most of them alone, because they don't politicize their plight.

Once a primitive politicizes his or her plight though, he or she's fair game, and nothing indecent about it.

I was curious about public opinion outside of CC/CU, so I did a quick search on a center-left blog site I check daily.  I found an entry from 2006 and they don't seem to be very receptive of the girl.

Ouch, that left a welt.

This is such trash, it isnt even good flash.

Trying to make a political statement at the age of 15 is rediculous, the mind at 15 is such of a sponge it will absorb anything put in front of it that is painted as "cool" by society. Thus rebeling against the war, which her peer group labels as the cool thing to do, is the motive of such works. This negates their value as it is not a rational decision of her own, only a product of pop culture.

She needs to make a flash video of the hundred of thousands of kurds who were persecuted over 15 years. That might not be as popular but it is certain to be more horrific.
