 That was in my youth in the late 50s and early 60s.

I can honestly say my own personal values and beliefs have not changed very much. I'm maybe a little more liberal than I was on some fiscal issues and maybe a little more conservative on some international issues, but I'm still pretty much as I always was.

So why am I being called part of the crazy, far left, fringe?

Funny, donating to an organization created by and ran by communists ("Roger Baldwin" ringing any bells?) isn't what those who value liberty traditionally do.

He somehow avoids talking about what his own beliefs really were back in those days, rendering his entire post essentially meaningless...not that meaningless posts are all that unusual for him...

I used to be a conservative until I tried meth.  Now I realize it's okay to steal from others when someone really needs it.

I've been the crazy, rightwing, nutcase your mother warned you about since way back in the 50's and I got this way all by myself before most rightwing talk show host were even born.

I don't know what this sudden push at DUmmyland about not being part of the fringe left is all about. Especially since they all say things everyday that shows how fringe they are.
