Where are the fireflies? There are NONE outside right now --
and in rural Virginia, in July, it should be lit up out there right now with fireflies.

Where the hell did they go? Some hideous pesticide? I love them, I miss them.

All i can say is i live in rural VA and as im not a DUmmie and i clean my house i can see out of my windows and can see hundreds of fire flies.

I don't see as many lightning bugs as I used to when I was a kid.  Oh wait, I lived in a small town with few street lights and now I live in town.  :banghead:

I've never seen a firefly so I don't think we have any here. :( If we do they're not common or I've never been in the right spot to see them.

Flaxbee, all of your fireflies have migrated to Quebec because of global warming.

We have tons of them. They aren't out tonight so much, kind of lightning and stormy.

Wasn't this a lament last season too?  Maybe a lack of fireflies is an outer manifestation of the inner darkness and occlusion of the DUmmies?

When I was a little kid, lots of times we'd have snow up to my knees.
We don't get big snows like that anymore. Damn Bush.

If fluxbee is looking for bugs, perhaps he/she should check his/her shorts. :naughty:
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Meh - a little west-coast radioactive milk will fix that right up.

As for the original fireflies, they are probably just dancing the foxtrot at some insomniac's house.

That reminds me of some moonbat troll at Moonbattery.  He was going on and on  :panic: about how there were NO MORE BEES due to GLOBAL WARMING and we would all STARVE TO DEATH because of lack of pollination.  I replied that we had plenty of bees at my house, buzzing around happily doing what bees do.  He replied that just because I said that, doesn't make it so.   :mental:

I have plenty of fireflies (or lightning bugs, as we called them as a kid in Ohio).  They're very cute.

We do too -

I keep some in a jar, in case my dreams get real bizarre. And when I mist them with radioactive milk vapor, they glow brighter than an airport searchlight - Its a really outstanding experiment - better than Diet Coke and Mentos.

I've seen a ton this year.  More than usual.  And biting flies. :censored:  I've been through two things of bug spray already this year.

What am I supposed to do with that?  Would that count as an extra club in my golf bag?  :-)

Ahh, hang this on the golf cart then:

It's much simpler than that.
Fluxbee at no time has ever actually seen a firefly at all. They are all in it's fevered head. :stoner:
Fluxbee's connection has been passing bad acid lately (bad as in = fake).
Thus, Fluxbee sees no fireflies.

Taking more acid will actually fix that problem.

They're lightning bugs. A firefly is just a gay lightning bug.

When I was a kid, my sisters would smoosh them on their fingers and pretend they were diamond rings.
