If a woman can be built like a brick outhouse, I guess a man could be hung like a brick mason.
Could be we have underestimated the so called barbarous cultures.
The old time laws seem to work better at preventing repeat bad actions then simple hanging or cutting off an arm of a thief that will still steal with the remaining hand.
I never could understand how sex offenders were placed in jail and why we think that when they get out they will see the error of their ways.
I see nothing cruel or unusual about shaming, embarrassing, mortifying and causing these offenders to parade naked for all the world to see in the face of family and community's.
Physical punishment is so fleeting, get flogged, if one lives, it is over and like a broke leg the experience soon leaves the mind----may take awhile but one does forget somewhat. Jail is just 3 hots and a cot, Hanging just allows the offender the peace of no more problems.
Only problem I can see with the brick dragging is that in Japan I believe they have compartitions to see what man can can drag the heaviest weight with their Dick. I do not know how these men train for the sport but, If I am ever in Japan, I want to go watch their work outs.
Gina, oh Gina, if I win a round trip ticket for 2 to Japan, want to come along as Hubby would have no interest in that sport,--------I hope.

I remember seeing some old time pictures taken after WW2 and what they did to the French woman that made nice to the German occupiers
They shaved their heads and paraded them naked through the streets to the ridicule of thousands of on lookers.
Life in an American prison is better that that.
