I could see me tripping the trigger while it still had dishes from supper, though!  I'm a simple woman by necessity  :p

A hand-cranked version wouldn't be much different from the mechanical electrical one.  It would just take a little longer.

Really beautiful.  The website says the price runs into the tens of thousands of pounds, then you have to fly an installer out from the UK, most likely on your dime.  Gorgeous, though.

Making the table would be straightforward enough.  Getting it to move would be the difficult part. :wink:
