For decades now you have kept them down on your inner city plantations. Never do you give them a hand-up, just a handout. And it's barely enough for subsistence living. Your president, a community organizer who supposedly worked to help the poor, instead becomes joined at the hip with Valerie Jarrett. She is one of Chicago's worst slum lords. And you say nothing. You could have passed legislation forcing slum lords like 0bama's best friend, Valerie Jarrett, to fix their project housing or lose federal funding. But you don't. Children suffer lead poisoning, poor plumbing, and no heat. But I guess it's okay because it's democrats doing this.
You could have used the millions and millions you've deigned to give them to make a real, positive change in their lives: job training, improved schools, community gardens, neighborhood enhancement projects to help them develop pride in themselves and their homes, neighborhood watch programs in concert with extra police presence to get the gangs & drug dealers out, on-site subsidized day care for parents who are working to make a better life for their children. But you don't. You can't blame Republicans for this because democrats have owned these cities for decades. Even in federal and state governments there have been many times when you guys have been in control (with super majorities no less) when you could have implemented positive changes in these people's lives. But you don't.
You throw more money at these inner city schools than any other schools in the country and yet they under perform. Drop out rates are high. Teachers seem ineffective. No one asks where the money is going. When children in Washington DC, one of the poorest inner cities in the country, finally had a chance to go to different schools (implemented by Republicans, no less) one of the first thing your president did was take that program away from them. If it wasn't working that might make sense, but these children were learning, some for the first time in their lives. Perhaps he simply didn't want his own privileged children rubbing elbows with poor brown children. But no one questions his actions. Except the families of the children who were helped by the voucher program. But no one listens to them.
So the question remains: Why do you guys hate brown people and want to keep them down, hardly better than slaves, dependent on you as they were on their DEMOCRAT slave owners. And despite your attempts at saying this is the fault Republicans, in your hearts (if you're honest with yourselves...what a concept) you know that's not true. YOUR party made Robert Byrd (who you called the conscience of the senate). Nor could you guys be depended on to fight for their freedom during the Civil War. It was OUR president who freed them, who embraced the same principles we do today. It was REPUBLICANS who voted to pass the Civil Rights Act. Your party wouldn't even allow them to register to vote as democrats, but Republicans gladly welcomed them. Perhaps that's why Martin Luther King was a Republican. When you finally found a way to make them dependent on you (again through handouts that will never lift them out of their poverty,) you tried to claim all this benevolence, past, present, and future. Having kept them uneducated and dependent it was easy for you to convince them you were the ones who cared. For once, you finally did say something, but it was a lie.
When some of them do escape the shackles of your government run inner city plantations you call them vile names. You become the worst kind of racists. Do you do it to keep the other ones from straying, lest they face your wrath? While you "allow" them a college education, you do it through quotas, not merit. They struggle and often drop out because their shitty public education hasn't adequately prepared them for the rigors of college curriculum. Those that do make it through will always and forever face the stigma of people wondering whether they were good enough or just got through because they were propped up by racial quotas. Those that don't make it go back to their ramshackle neighborhoods feeling hopeless once again.
For whatever reason, you don't want them to be free. So if any of you can come over here and answer these questions, I'd appreciate it. I know you lurk. I dare you to take responsibility for your party's inner city slavery and discuss this with maturity and honesty. You have failed brown people over and over and over again. You hold none of your leaders accountable (you just blame the right which is historically inaccurate). Guess it's easier to blame someone else then face you're deliberate actions to keep them under your thumb. The only thing positive, I guess, is you're not whipping them anymore. Of course they still have to face drive-by shootings, but you can turn your backs and blame guns or whatever your new and improved straw men are.
