Peorians living in fear

This eye-witness account is from Paul Wilkinson, president of the Altamont Park Neighborhood Association:

Tonight, around 11 p.m., a group of at least 60-70 African American youth marched down one of the side streets (W. Thrush) to the 4 lane main drag (Sheridan). They were yelling threats to white residents. Things such as we need to kill alll the white people around here. They were physically intimidating anyone calling for help from the police. They were surrounding cars. Cars on the main drag had to slam on their brakes to either avoid the youth blocking not only all four lanes, but a large section of the side street as well. fights were breaking out among them. They were rushing residents who looked out their doors, going on to porches, yelling threats to people calling the police for help.

Cars were doing U turns on the streets just to avoid the mob, mostly male. One youth stated his grandfather was white and several assaulted him on the spot. One police officer answered the call. The youth split into two large groups, one heading north, the other south. They were also yelling racial threats to the police officer but he was outnumbered. Another police car did not show up until after the youth finally dispersed and the patty wagon (van) also eventually showed up.

Residents are very shaken, both black and white alike. This is the fifth large mob action in about a month with smaller groups of 10-12 are out threatening children and adults a few evenings a week or later into the night. The times vary, even occuring during the day. In talking to the police officer, they are short staffed. Residents were advised to simply keep inside and to lock their doors. In other words buckle down, it’s not even safe to sit on your porch or go into your yards.

“The fifth large mob action in about a month.” Wow. This is really outrageous. Why is this neighborhood having to put up with this? “Residents were advised to simply keep inside and to lock their doors”? Seriously? That’s the best we can do for our fellow citizens’ safety?

This needs to be addressed, and quickly.

Seriously. Only two cops showed up for a riot?

This is why you should never let the govt disarm you. When the police fear to do their jobs, the mob rules the streets. Don't listen to police arguments that you don't need guns, they will protect you.
Bottom line: Only one person can be counted on to protect you: YOU.

Thinking about this, I'm betting this is a liberal run city. and the prosecutors are soft on crime.
If you live in a city like Peoria...get out! There may well be a time when conservative need to flee liberal enclaves. Watch local news and learn whats going (and NOT going on).

The problem is that many of the residents probably put their life savings into their homes. Who would they sell their houses to, those thugs?

I can't believe only one squad car going to a mob action.

Coverage of this story and some others like it recently is mighty sparse in the MSM. They really would like to see it go away and not report on it. Of course if it were a mob of caucasians moving through Harlem yelling things like "kill all the black people" we would never hear the end of it. Saturation coverage would be 24/7 with teary eyed vigils from all the leading race personages. When it happens in Mayberry to Aunt Bea and Opie then it's A-o.k.???

There is a phenomenon of flash mobs forming throughout the country and going on bigoted racially driven riotous sprees. They form like sudden storms instantly descending out of clear blue skies with the aid of cellphone texting and social media such as Facebook and Twitter. It is happening more and more and more and more the MSM is dutifully ignoring it. I'll take the opportunity here to spell it right out in no uncertain terms.

Young disenfranchised inner city black ghetto youth is embarking on a deliberate campaign of racial hatred driven organised crime seeking to cause anarchy and inflict harm upon white people. Period. There it is, no sugar coating, no spin.

Is it any wonder that the Ku Klux Klan is growing faster today than it did at its height in the 1920's and the membership rolls of websites like stormfront are swelling as well?

I ran across this story http://www.pjstar.com/news/x2069925100/Account-of-racist-Peoria-mob-spurs-national-attention while searching for a good link (Drudge links fail to connect for me most of the time).  Looks like the city council is attempting to discredit a witness and say the reaction to the mob is exaggerated.  There is a comment that race was not even mentioned in the police report which I find entirely incredible.

Because while the cops and city government are too chickenshit to put a stop to it, you can bet your ass they WILL prosecute anyone who does respond.  Too little law enforcement is worse than none at all.

Yup, my first thought, a good size truck with 2 steel bumpers and a roll cage would be my first buy were I to live there.-------

At my age there is much more  I can do then the younger family's do, no children to worry about, problems with health that may come in handy to excuse most actions against riots and mobs.

A benefit of growing older, I have 3 pit bulls in my yard they are pets.     My foot slipped off the break on to the gas, --sorry I was scared and confused when I ran over 15 people coming at me with ball bats.

They can put this old grayed woman in jail for skipping her meds. actually a couple months of free room and board no worries just may be a vacation.------Think of all the interesting woman I would meet in the slammer.  Heck I could write a book about the experience and go home a free bird with money in the bank to cover me when I need a nursing home.

In other words when one retires try to think   "What me worry"    What ever happend to the Gray Panthers from yester year.   Time for the retired to arm themselves and when the Assholes bring problems to them, kick them in the shins, blow off a few knee caps and let them know you will not take this anymore.
