Rep's Wife Under House Arrest
« on: June 22, 2011, 05:35:26 PM »
Let's say you were a member of Congress and had to attend a fundraiser, as they often do. Your wife can't attend because she is under house arrest. What do you tell your friends?

That's the sticky wicket that Congressman John Tierney (D,Boston) is finding himself in. His wife Patrice is, well, a criminal and under house arrest. Yummy story...

Well, it's better than being John Conyers' wife, who IIRC is still in prison.

Simple.

You tell your friends that your wife has a wardrobe malfunction:

An ankle bracelet that can't come off -- something to do with the connection.   :-)
