If you want to express support for Congressman Weiner, here's an e-mail address.

It's on his facebook page.

I sent him a short note expressing my support for him and letting him know, we still need him to fight for us.

I told him to try not to take things too hard. After I sent it, I realized that was an especially unfortunate choice of words on my part. I hope his staff won't end up interpreting it as a sarcastic letter or trying to make fun of the situation. It's not my fault that something like 75% of the English language consists of words that can be used as double entendres.

I know we are all saddened and disappointed. Many are angry. But I hope we will remember that this is a man who has spent many years trying to sweep back the tide of Republican evil. Maybe we owe him something for that, in spite of the dumb mistakes he's made.

Would be horrible if some freepers got a-hold of this email address.

 :lmao:

6. Do you feel that way because you feel he's detracting now from the work of the party, or

because you feel he's done a bad job over the years, or...?

I'm just really sad at the thought of losing him because he's been such an effective spokesman for our side. I felt really sad too when Alan Grayson was defeated.

I was thrilled when Grayson got to do his part to help the economy by collecting unemployment.

Oh, but franksolich thinks that's one of the most wonderful things about the English language.

Me too. I just found out Washington state has a congressman named Norman Dicks. Now if he were involved in a sex scandal that would be comedy gold, at least for immature people like me.  :-)

Other than the militant lezbo faction it looks like the vast majority of DU will be adding that email to their addy books, most likely hoping for a new pic mass mailing.

I have to agree with DUmmy LiberalLoner that the Weiner was as effective in fighting for
moonbat principles (boy, there's an oxymoron!) as Alan Grayson. And don't forget the Kootch.

Ya know something?  I don't want him to resign.

Why?

It's real simple--good and decent people across the US will look at him and the Dems in 2012, and say, "Look what the Democrat Party condones.  Do we want that for our children?  No?  Let's get 'em out of office!"  And they will vote out their Dem Senator or Representative, or State Dem.

Hey Weiner!
Look, it doesn't take a genius to know no one in school ever called you by your first name.

I'm just writing to give you a bit of friendly advice. RESIGN. Its for the good of your party. When Miss Pelosi and your own party members start asking for your head its a good idea that they are looking to keep theirs.
2012 is going to be a repeat of 2010.
-If you don't want your name used against other democrats in 2012, RESIGN.
-If you don't want your name headlining jokes on the nightly talk shows, RESIGN.
-If you don't want us all to see the bombshell photos Briebart has, RESIGN.
-If you want to salvage your reputation, RESIGN.
-If you want to salvage your marriage, RESIGN.

Look. Spitzer has a cush job at CNN. There are people out there who like you, and will employ you.
Take your new wife and retire to a civilian life of peace. i.e, RESIGN.

Thanks for listening, Weiner.

Boortz was saying yesterday he doesn't want him to resign.  He is now an ineffective enemy of freedom.  If he resigns, he will be replaced by an effective enemy of freedom.

Pretty much my train of thought. :yahoo:

What Democrat or Democrats have it in for Weiner? why isn't anyone asking that question? The guy was going to run for Mayor of NY and I think he could've won, what Democrats would feel threatened that Weiner was going to possibly be a rising star in the Democratic party? where's Chuck Schumer been? you can't keep that guy away from the cameras, and he's been silent? why? :fuelfire:

Some are quite humorous.
There was an auto dealership in Alabama many years ago.
Dick Flick Chevrolet.
Not kidding.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

We had a teacher in high school named Dick. Can't remember his first name now or even what he taught and I never had him in class. I understand he was really hard.

 :-) :-) :-) :-)

I do remember that his name wasn't Harold or Richard. That would have been just too good.

Every guy in the hall would be really polite in the morning to him when they saw him and say in the loudest voice possible: "Good Morning, Mr. Dick!"

For the ladies here it's a guy thing, don't try to understand it.

Was stationed with a guy whose last name was Dickman.  As if that wasn't bad enough, his first name was Jack.

My step sister's last name (married name but she is divorce now) is Cockburn but they pronounce it Coburn. The ck are conveniently silent.

What an arrogant condescending prick Weiner is. Check out the video from ABC: LINK

Look at him look the journalist right in the eye while lying out his ass, he is a true psychopath, in every sense of the word.
