California Rejects Plan To Reduce Cannabis Cultivation Penalties
The California Assembly on Friday rejected Assemblyman Tom Ammiano's bill, AB 1017, to reduce marijuana cultivation from a mandatory felony to a "wobbler," which would have allowed discretion on charging a misdemeanor. The vote was 24 yes to 36 no.
The bill had been supported by the district attorney of Mendocino County, but was opposed by the state D.A.'s association.
"The state Legislature has once again demonstrated its incompetence when it comes to dealing with prison crowding," said disappointed California NORML Director Dale Gieringer.

This just makes me pissed..
Over and over again California Legislators have left us hanging out to dry..
No matter what is presented to protect Patients.. It just gets blown off..
God Damned LEOs have a cob up their Asses because most of the Cash and Property make a great Payday Bonus..
A Patient who does have a real recommendation is considered a Joke by most if not all LEOs..
City and County Official cow down to their Police as things are tough financially..
Existing state laws that were put in place are totally ignored or re interpreted by design and access to any Cannabis for Patients is in Jeopardy..
All this does for me is make me more determined to fight this kind of madness...

The main thing, though, that attracted my attention is his initiative in inventing what could be a new DUmp complaint:
Public officials "cow down" to the police!
Now, we've seen lots of DUmmies who refused to "cow tow", others who would rather go to jail than to "cow toe", though they rarely, if ever, complain about a proper kowtow. Never before, though, has a DUmpmonkey been outraged by a "cow down".
I'm wondering about this. Is the past tense "cowed down", or "cow downed"?
Is one currently in the process of "cowing down", or "cow downing"?
Is there any relationship between a "cow down" and a hoedown? They both seem sort of rural.
What it all boils down to is this: DreamSmoker is a felon who will never pass a urine test for a decent job. He's also illiterate.
