I can see November 2 from my house!!!

Spread my work ethic, not my wealth.

Forget change, bring back common sense.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

indeed, The BarackStar! is cooperative enough to hand us a big gnarly gaffe every couple of weeks. :-)  maybe he gets even more careless under pressure, which he shouldn't have been feeling up until now.

the latimes is running one of those online polls that the DUmmies believe have immeasurable influence
in the real world.  LA Times readers are pretty bitter. :-)

America's turn: How bitter are you? Vote now

Quote
OK, with all this talk about "bitter" Americans, how do you feel? Are you bitter about your life and financial and other circumstances?

64%
Yes. I'll show you bitter when I vote.

6%
Yes, but it isn't any politician's fault.

30%
No. Actually, I feel pretty good.

another twist in the tale.  if the guy would just shut up, or at least stick to one explanation,
the story might go away.

Quote
"My syntax was poor," Obama said. "But as a wise older woman I was talking to the other day said: 'You misspoke, but you didn't lie.' "

link

sound anything like "I smoked pot, but I didn't inhale"?

Rush played a segment from Wolfe Blitzer's show on CNN, they were discussing "Bittergate" and Jack Cafferty said something like, "What Obama said was true, jobs have been lost in small town America for decades and people are upset. Look what happens in the Middle East, when they don't have jobs, they join Al Qaeda." What Jack? Small town America folks are like Al Qaeda?

oh, I don't know.  it is amazing that with the war being as unpopular as it is (thanks to the MSM), and the economy being on the verge of a The Great Depression II (once again, thanks to the MSM), that mccain is running even with both hillary and The BarackStar! in the national polls.

I just wonder how big a bump BO will get out of his convention;  if he gives the sort of mesmerizing, zombie creating speech that he is capable of, he could move big numbers.

As bad as the Drive-By's say everything is, I trust my fellow Americans will not elect an antiwar president while at war (let alone a magic manchurian negro or a congenitally lying shrew).

Scary indeed how the Democrats almost succeeded in stealing that!

Many people are already making up their minds on BO vs McCain, and while the lefties will swoon on him, the moderates will shun him and go to McCain. Unless McCain starts to stumble, BO cannot win.
