I was listening to a Jewish Rabbi on a religious channel this morning. He was explaining why in the past Jews had been thrown out of some countries...Spain, Portugal, England. Well, he said it was because in the past Jews had controlled banking and when governments had borrowed more than they could repay they threw the Jews out with nothing. That was their way of settling the government debt to jewish bankers.

So, if history repeats itself and if I were a jew in the U.S., I think I would be packing my bags.

I got pulled into this not so long ago when a Philippine woman came up to me and said that the plant was being taken over by people from Laos.

So what, the workers did their job, came to work on time and were a benefit to the company.  They helped out everyone and were a benefit to the company.  She was outraged and to this day avoids me.

So who cares if the Jews run banking or world wide bagel shops.  Someone has to do it.

Who do we think would be better to run banking, the Amish, perhaps  the  Buddhists??

The Jews have been doing a fine job, the have been here helping from the Revolutionary war to the present.

The American Jewish population tends to vote 2/3 Liberal Democrat, sadly, as well as contributing heavily in a financial sense to the Democrats, so the odds of the Democrats pissing in their own Cheerios this way are pretty long. Add in the guilt factor for daring to vote against a Black Democrat, and we're very unlikely to see this pairing split in 2012.

You're right, that's correct....now ask yourself why? Maybe it's because democrats borrow and spend more money than others and only pay interest....like paying only the minimum on a credit card all the while increasing the balance. If Jews are in charge of banking, those are the idiots they're looking for.

Oh, I knew that...I just thought I'd add in some background for anyone browsing it who might take it seriously.   

The role of Jews in European banking goes back to the Church's view on usury, though the crowned heads certainly screwed anyone they could when they were desperate for money, from the Templars in France to the Gentile goldsmiths in England.  It was just a lot easier for them to get away with screwing the Jews.

Back in those days, the jews weren't allowed to own property. I guess that drove them to the professions and banking/etc.
.....and I guess if you were a smart Jew, you kept some of your wealth in something portable like gold/silver/jewels.
