Has anybody talked to people from other countries about the bin Laden death?
I talked to two people today who worked in the news media in two different European countries and they had the same reaction:

There has been so much propaganda about bin Laden and al Qaeda and they know the media is willingly spoonfed so much PR and propaganda in general that they aren't sure what, if anything, happened, and what it's significance might be.

That was more or less my first reaction too, though I put a more positive spin on it: it will be just about impossible to justify the War on Terror after this.

I was a bit surprised to hear that because even in semi-lefty forums like this those views are shouted down as conspiracy theories.

I'm wondering what other people have heard about it from their friends in other countries.

DUmmy yurbud was just a run-of-the-mill member of the nameless, faceless, useless unterprimitiven, until he called the DUmp a "semi-lefty forum".

1. I hear no such thing at all.
What 'news media' organizations and countries are you speaking of? What sort of work do your friends do in those organizations?

I originally doubted the muslim's story about the bin Laden mission, but then I realized he had to be telling the truth.

If there was anything else going on, you know poor, stupid Plugs would have let it slip by now.

2. That it is a good thing the bastard is dead
of course that is Mexico.
Does anyone have any idea what nutcase nadin is trying to say? She's a little more incoherent than usual lately, and she's given up starting her pronouncements with "And, yes, I know....". I think she may be distracted by her little G.I. Joe games.

7. It will make staying in Afghanistan easier. It justifies our 10 year war.
Now we have to get the rest of "Al Qaeda" which also often means the Taliban in US media, which often means paid mercenaries fighting with no ideology whatsoever.

The assassination of Bin Laden, if true, which it probably is--but who knows the actual circumstances of his death without an independent media-- will be a big fat nothing in the course of historical events. We will stay in Afghanistan and move to wherever else we want to be in the Middle East. The US doctrine is nothing less than to take over and "democratize" the Middle East. Al Qaeda is just a pretext. The Taliban will do just as well. Most Americans don't know the difference anyway as they are treated identically in the propaganda matrix we call "news."
DUmmies just hate to see the U.S. succeed. I used to think that when they got the jug-eared Kenyan into the White House, they might change a little, but they hate America today every bit as much as they did when Dubya was in office.

5. I don't think Americans realize how sheltered we are
Many other countries have been questioning the official story of 9/11 for years.

Building 7 disproving the official story was even discussed in the Japanese Parliament.

The US media has lost all credibility, and they are taking the rest of us down with them if we don't stand up and fight for ourselves and our country. We can no longer risk allowing the corporate media to be our face to the world.
This DUmmy needs to shoot off a PM to Larry L. Burks.

6. A friend in Canada was appalled at the scenes of the celebrations.
She didn't think it was appropriate to celebrate someone's death.

Sort of like the DUmp when President Reagan died?

The first 3 words are the most correct ones used by a DUmmie I have read.

Never stopped the DUmmies before.  Why start now?
