TOTD: No problems speaking here. Been a few years since I spoke in front of a few hundred. Last group was about 60 people and it was a training session on hospitality.

50 degrees today, up to 70 (?) tomorrow...  :cheersmate:

TOTD: If I need to say something, I'll say it whether there are 2 or 1002 people. But, I don't really get into lecturing a large group of people. I am much better communicating with the written word.

I was busy today at work.  My arch nemesis, Ivy, called.  She said they paid for something, yet when I asked for what check number she magically couldn't find it in the computer.  Woot!  I got to call her back and say "I'm sorry, I don't have any record of that invoice being paid, so, um, yeah it still needs to be paid."   :-)

Then I went to Target after work and picked up this nifty gadget: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41R1CFFKVQL._SS260_.jpg

It was in DixieBelle's gadget thread Saturday.  It had good reviews on Amazon, and I'm tired of eating oatmeal for breakfast every day.

So that in turn required a trip to the grocery store, where along with breakfast stuff, I picked up some crawfish and made crawfish etouffee for dinner.   :-)

TOTD:  It's been a while since I gave a speech.  Once I get going it usually no problem.

Cool!!! Does it work as advertised?
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

bah.  Can't sleep.

Finished my taxes.  I had to use H&R Block so I could e-file, but I came out on top and don't owe the IRS a dime.   :uhsure:
I just hope I don't have any trouble with that 1099-Misc form.  I had to file that as "Other" income.

It does!  I bought eggs, English muffins and Canadian bacon last night.  It's really easy to use, and if you do eggs/toaster at the same time, it's programmed to finish everything at the same time.  It uses steam to heat up the Canadian bacon.  Breakfast Sandwich!

It's easy to clean too.  There's like a mini pan for poached eggs and you just liberally use non-stick spray and then I hand washed it.

For $30, it's not a bad buy.  :)
