The Democratic House and Senate were mostly cut out of negotiations

I heard a Democrat on C-SPAN this morning say that they did not know what was cut. The impression that he gave was that only the President and Harry Reid were in negotiation with Boehner and the Repubs and Boehner would report back to the Teabaggers to see if it was acceptable but the Democrats gave their members no such courtesy? Does this sound familiar? Did not the President do that once before? That should not happen again.

The GOP was cut out of the Affordable Health Care Act (I know that's Orwellian as hell) negotiations.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

The Democrats own the Senate.  What the hell are you losers talking about?

I don't see senate republicans mentioned.  Were they cut out, too?

Hey now be real.  O'wanker is only one man, he can't be expected to do it all.  Wouldn't be prudent.  The brother has a lot on his mind, important stuff, like if he gets a Tee-time for the weekend now, will Moochelle, the Crumb Crunchers, Mommy dearest, et al be upset 'cause he had to blow off that Williamsburg gig?  Come on have a heart, this isn't like playing 3D Vulcan chess.

"Democrats are welcome to come along for the ride but they're going to have to ride in the back".......seems I've heard something like that by someone somewhere....now who was it?
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

Sounds like some were drinking slurpees while the real work was being done.
