"Ballot destruction" being claimed in Wiscoinsin.

http://punditpress.blogspot.com/2011/04/wisconsin-city-...

As if the situation in Wisconsin wasn't tense enough, it appears that one county in particular is going to a new extreme. This comes after word that there may have been voter fraud in the nonpartisan State Supreme Court election yesterday between incumbent David Prosser and JoAnne Kloppenburg.

For some reason one of the counties in the state is destroying ballots that 'were not counted' yesterday. Apparently this is a very bizarre and egregious move.

13. And the only evidence cited in the blog is the claims of a right-wing radio show host

The Republicans always cry fraud when they lose.

Priceless, considering at DU I have learned that every single republican win from Nixon on was fraud. Meanwhile every democrat win was the actual will of the people.

Most people think that the computers only came in recently -- whereas they

have been coming in since the late 1960's --

I'd question every election back to Nixon/Humphrey --

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Why am I not surprised? Likewise I wouldn't be surprised to learn the 'Rats were lighting celebratory cigars with uncounted republican ballots. Or would that be celebratory doobies?

I'm not going to jump on this just yet -

Different states have different rules of how to deal with spoiled ballots. If shredding them to insure they aren't tabulated is the procedure that Wisconsin uses, then that's the procedure. With that being said, the ballot remnants should be available for inspection.
