Energy rationing in exchange for all nuclear plants being be shut down?
   
Would you support limiting the amount of energy Americans can use on a daily basis until scientists come up with safer energy sources? Anyone who went over their daily limit could be shut off for the rest of the day. Certain groups could have exceptions, like senior citizens and families with babies. What do you say?

If you little punks want energy rationing it's remarkably simple. You can do it quite safely from home.

Locate your breaker box or sub board. There will be a "main switch" there. Place that switch into the "OFF" position.

Voila ! Energy rationing.

But, they should turn on every thing that uses electricity before they open or close the disconnect.  That way the electric company will notice that they are doing their part.

I swear these anti-nuke asshats are praying for a total meltdown - because they know if after all of this, radiation is kept to a minumum and the damage contained, that this will serve as a reason why nuclear power is a good option.

That substandard reactors can handle a 9.0 earthquake followed by a tsunami and aftershocks that are full sized earthquakes themselves, lose power, lose cooling capability and still be contained while the whole world watches would be a total P.R. nightmare for them. And they know it.

You know I have made a 180 on my stand on illegal immigration. But with a slight twist. For every Mexican that wants to come over and actually work for a living they will be allowed to bring their family over at the crossing. After say 3 years you are still a productive member of society and have broken no laws then you can start the citizenship process.

The twist...

For every Mexican we take we get to send a career welfare family permanently south of the boarder.
