It will be interesting to find out if the electorate, as a whole, has learned

a damned thing since 2010. Never have so many reprehensible politicians- repukes, of course, been voted into office. In 2012, we'll find out if the electorate will repudiate the Snyders and Walkers and Wests, etc.

I don't have a lot of faith in the collective intelligence of the electorate.

1. Unfortunately....

many are only as good as the shit MSM feeds them.

That is why we have an AA (p)resident in the White House.

2. most people pay no attention to the news at all

in any case, I don't think the MSM as a whole has been terribly supportive of these kinds of candidates.

bat shit crazy people got elected in 2010? I know we all saw this coming, but I too fear the electorate are simply not paying attention --- but perhaps even more importantly, not being provided with the information they need to make an informed decision.

Many of us knew and feared what Obama/Pelosi/Reid would do to this country.

4. These issues will be dead by then, and all focus will be on Obama

Since Obama has chosen not to use the bully pulpit to talk about States doing the sorts of things they are doing, I doubt it will be an issue.

5. I have faith

That they have an founded faith in that which counts their vote.

What, pray tell, counts your vote? Can you trace your vote from cast to count?
I don't think so. Vote counting is nowhere near as good as the bank's counting.
Why is that?

Holy Shi'ite Batman.

Never has one group gotten stuff so completely wrong, as in 180 degrees.  The 2010 elections turned out the way they did, because people weren't paying attention to the news?  How can these people be that stupid?  Of course we know it's because a whole shitload of people started paying very very close attention.

I don't know how one can go through life so blind and delusional.

I was watching American Dad the other night, and someone smacked the big fat kid upside the head.  "I told you being stupid would start to hurt!"  I thought of the DUmmies.

Thats how I felt too after obozo was elected in 2008, but my faith was partially restored this past November.

In our county, the supervisors have voted in the PEUs a 12% pay raise and then doubled the fees for using parks and other county services.  Not a peep of outrage from the citizens.

I hope the rest of the country is better than the People's Republik of Santa Barbara.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Miami-Dade just recalled their mayor for raising taxes. He was a republican, but the recall was led by Tea Party members and some rich guy.

I found that interesting, a politician who raised taxes in order to pay public workers more got recalled.
In other words he did the opposite of what Walker is doing and he is now helping to stimulate the economy by collecting unemployment checks.

I bet the idiots at DU are still celebrating that a repuke got thrown out of office, not realizing he did exactly what they want Walker to do.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Awesome post PatriotGame. How true that is.
More concerned with the "brackets" than the U.S. economy/jobs or the freedoms we lose every day. H5!
