Blanket Drive By the USS George Washington for the Japanese
« on: March 15, 2011, 12:47:49 AM »
Friends;
   They are in desperate need of blankets to hand out to the stricken Japanese people. Please spread the word to your VFW Posts, any other organizations to which you might belong, your churches and your friends.

From Facebook:
"GW families, friends and fans,
What can you do to help the victims of Japan's deadly earthquake? The ship is hosting a "Blanket Drive." Blankets are badly needed across Japan. If you have a Sailor aboard GW, please send them a blanket or two and we'll make sure it gets to those who need it most. Thank you for everyone's support!"
