Another Jackson Lee aide recounts the time her parents came to Washington to visit: “They were really excited to come to the congressional office. They’re small town people, so for them it was a huge deal. They were actually sitting in the main lobby waiting area….[Jackson Lee] came out screaming at me over a scheduling change. Called me a ’stupid idiot. Don’t be a moron, you foolish girl’ and actually did this in front of my parents, of all things."

Her district is nothing but black areas of Dallas.  The people in these districts vote for people based on skin color rather than qualifications.

I saw your buddy Eddie Bernice on C-SPAN the other week.  For someone who you would expect gets paid to speak publicly on a regular basis, this woman could barely string two words together, let alone focus on a single point and make a coherent statement about it.

I feel the same way about the receptionist at work, but that's another story.

It is a sad state of affairs that she has gotten elected time after time.  Shameful, really.
