Prisoner on the run planned grizzly end in Yellowstone National Park

A CONVICTED killer wanted to be eaten by bears because he could not face spending the rest of his life on the run.

Tracy Province told police he meant to overdose on heroin and let Yellowstone National Park grizzlies have him for breakfast – but a voice told him to hitchhike to Indiana instead.

Detective Larry Matthews said: “He called it divine intervention.”

Park spokesman Al Nash said it was unlikely Province’s plan would have worked,  ...
