Oregon Trail Lives! Work Productivity Dies!
« on: January 26, 2011, 05:42:22 PM »
Oregon Trail is coming to Facebook

I LOVED Oregon Trail as a kid! I never got tired of dying via dysentery or snake bite.  :lmao: If this ends up being anything like the original, I'm so screwed. I'll never get anything done!

If you want to worship an orange pile of garbage with a reckless disregard for everything, get on down to Arbys & try our loaded curly fries.

Whats wrong with Lexulous, (electronic Scrabble) ?  Taught the niece computer skills with OT and Kings Quest.

I haven't looked at the Facebook version of Scrabble yet.  I might have to check it out.

I play the Facebook Scrabble all the time. It's not bad at all.

I miss Scrabulous :(

As for Oregon Trail, I promise, I've only cried once when I lost an ox while forging the river!

It looks like the "new" version of OT.  No thanks.  I want the old one in all it's 8-bit detail.  I think the lo-tech version is what made it so endearing.

The Apple iPhone/Pad App version is actually pretty entertaining.
