Lieberman to Retire
January 18, 2011 3:25 P.M.
By Daniel Foster
That’s what Connecticut politico Kevin Rennie is reporting:

United States Senator Joseph Lieberman (I-CT) is expected to announce Wednesday that he will not seek a 5th term in 2012, Daily Ructions has learned.  Lieberman has invited supporters to an event at the Marriott hotel in Stamford Wednesday afternoon for his announcement.

This shouldn't be any surprise; he's pretty old.

I expect Jr. from Vermont, Bernie Sanders, to retire too, as he's ready for the nursing home.

Walk out before they throw you out on your ass....good thinking.

Well, Jr. from Vermont's pretty old, and he dribbles and spits.

I used to watch him on C-Span during the early 1990s, when he was a white-haired congressman, spittering and sputtering in angry indignation about one thing or the other.

It occurred to me even back then that people needing to speak with him close-up--say, within six feet or so--should carry a plexiglass shield for their own protection from the spit and sput.

Yeah, Bernie's old all right, Frank.  So is the dude from Hawaii, Inouye, who is 86.  Some of those guys will be only carried out in a box.

I will say for Lieberman, he understood terrorism, actually acknowleged that it existed.  CT, bah.  Bunch of moonbats with New York accents.  Rich white guilt.

Wow, he saw the writing on the wall, I'm soooooooooooooo surprised.    :whatever:
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

Well, if no one noticed her for 2 weeks, that would kill her.

OOOPS! There I go with hate speech again.
