7. If Pres. Obama could be even remotely associated with something like this due to something he said..
...or something his campaign did, a 45 minute speech w/ included apology and message clarification would have been issued by now.
“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.â€
"Get out there and “punish our enemiesâ€
“I don’t want to quell anger. I think people are right to be angry! I’m angry!â€
“Punch back twice as hard.â€
I'll be waiting for that apology speech. Perhaps, since we now KNOW this guy had more philosophically in common with the left, just perhaps these words were stewing in his brain for the last few years and he decided, finally, to act on them.
Heck, his internal dialogue might have gone something like this (it's more plausible than cross hairs on a map during an election as Obama's words DIRECTLY and DESCRIPTIVELY call for violence):
"The president says I have a right to be angry, he doesn't want me to stop being angry. And I am really, really angry at Congresswoman Giffords. I wrote her a letter but I didn't get a good answer back. I even went to one of her town meetings but she ignored me. President Obama says we should "punch back twice as hard" and that we should "punish our enemies". She's my enemy! He said if they bring a knife to the fight we bring a gun...I have a gun. For all I know she has a knife or someone else does. I'm doing exactly what the president told me to do! I bet he'll be so proud of me!"
