Why not wait until the very last minute to pay?  I mean, after all, those greedy evil rich companies do not deserve your hard earned dollars two weeks before the due date.
I know. Those EVIL GREEDY corporations that use me for me money.  :-) (sarcasm.)

You know EC I have to state you are extremely responsible for your young age.   The more I get to cyber-know you, the more I am impressed on how leveled headed you are.

I hope that doesn't sound condescending, so please don't take offense.  It is just nice to see that from a young couple.

I agree

I don't have one of their credit cards(I don't have any credit cards, can't get one with close to $500,000 in hospital and Dr bills)the helicopter ride was  over $22,000....

How are you doing Ree?  You're in my thoughts :-)  I hope you don't fret over finances.  Talk to the hospital office.  Sometimes good Samaritans donate money for folks who can't pay under a Charity account.

Keep getting weller and better - we're all pulling for ya.  O-)

That's SOP. File an appeal.  Don't lose hope and give up.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

I negotiated my son's hospital bills and knocked off 39%. (The surgeon didn't charge a penny over what my insurance paid.)

Be sure and get an itemized bill.  Triple check the charges, make sure you received what you're charged for. Most hospitals will negotiate. Be sure whoever you talk to is authorized to give you a discount.

Google 'hospital bill negotiation'.

 :Lao:

We got a call from Discovery card service wanting to know why we were not using the card.

Hubby told them that card was our ACE in the hole in case of emergencys----so far none of that in the last year.

Home Depot is the one card to keep up to date.     Man they are powerful, I have heard storeys from friends about that credit card causing chaos if not paid off.

Sears is OK for us, no problem with them, If I forget the due date is next week, I call them and they extend the due date by a week.

Stores credit cards are not bad if you call and explain a problem, they want to keep a customer.

You got that right.  My wife was denied twice before we got a lawyer to help us.

It took almost 3 years, though.

I can just imagine that worry.  Maybe something in one of these links may prove helpful - hope so, anyway. :blowkiss:
