Is there a cult of personality around Barack Hussein Obama?

And the people that don't support him don't really care what he stands for? They don't support him because he is their anti-christ?

He could come out and say that he was a Republican and it wouldn't matter to some. He could say that he believes in the basic supply-side theory of taxcuts creating jobs and decreasing the deficit, just like Ronald Reagan, and it would mean nothing to his detractors. He could denounce the "progressives" in his own Party and they would boo him.

He could say that that Party isn't important. It only matters that we block getting "something" done. It really doesn't matter what that "something" is. So long as we block it in any way.

He could continue to do everything that Bush did and he would never be forgiven.

Because it is not important whether or not he is a Democrat. Just that he is...what?

Do you sense there is a cult of personality around this President?

He lasted less than 10 minutes before he was hit by a sniper :killemall:

Oh shut it, UP. The supporters would love him no matter what. He could kiss Rush Limbaugh's hand, and his supporters would be like: It's just his tactic to extend his Pr.

Or some such BS like that.

Tell the truth. You heard this song:

got it stuck in your head, and worked your ass off to incorporate the title into a thread. Congrats...you did it. :whatever:

Do you believe in open debate and free speech?

Or are there some subjects that you would prefer not talking about?

Why would you object to discussing some issues but not others? Do you think it would cause harm to our favorite politicians? Or do we fear that we cannot respond to the issues in a way to counter them in our favor? Is there really anything to fear in discussing controversial subjects?

Does it do more harm to try and censor opposing opinions, rather than debating them?

Should everyone be a cheerleader for what you believe? Do you get angry and call names when that doesn't happen? Isn't that rather childish?
You're posting this on DU Kentuck, if you can't see the irony then you need to put yourself out of your misery.

Before it was locked, I thought the outpoor of feigned common sense would have been an attempt at digging for moles.
