Can someone explain how the bush tax cut extensions will create jobs, when we have had them for

several years and the job market has gotten worse not better

Hell we have been sending out unemployment checks for decades, you would think with that many UE checks being issued we would be flooded with jobs.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Wasn't the unemployment rate under George Bush usually somewhere around 4.25%?

What is it now--oh, it's 9.8%.

Milo Yiannopoulos "It has been obvious since 2016 that Trump carries an anointing of some kind. My American friends, are you so blind to reason, and deaf to Heaven? Can he do all this, and cannot get a crown? This man is your King. Coronate him, and watch every devil shriek, and every demon howl."

Yeah through most of his term it was, it spiked at 5.something after the dems took congress.
The funny part is, that 4ish% was the worst unemployment rates in history!!!!!!1111111
I recall the dummies bitching about the Bush economy when unemployment was about 1/2 of what it is under Obama.
And back then there was no talk of how unemployment checks creates jobs either.

Yet because some idiot from the WH proclaimed that all DUmmies now parrot it as if it were a fact and long proven.

As Karin here once said, they are not capable of an original thought if their lives depended on it.

IIRC it was the Idiot speaker of the house that started the UE checks creates job garbage.

Don't get stuck on stupid...

I am of the CauCajun persuasion...  :-)

Leftwing lunatic thought process concerning police: I'm armed with bad breath and body odor. The police are armed with a badge, a tazer, a 9mm, and a shotgun.  I should antagonize them.

Nope, Still_stupid is one of the poster children for Liberalism.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

The thing about raising taxes which would be what happens the unemployment will go up.

This deal is getting worse by the second. I urge all CUers to call their senators and congress critters to vote against it. Living in Kalifornia all mine are not only donks but sooooooper liberal donks. I called them all and screamed about how it was so unfair that the evil rich should get a tax cut. Go on about how the rich should get a special retroactive tax on their previous earnings.  The staffers ate it up.

I'm putting on my inner DUmbass and calling all three again today.

This. Is. A. Bad. Bill.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

As of 4 PM eastern time, they had added like over 800 billion of "earmarks" into this to pass it.
Some are calling it "stimulus 2". Money is just being tossed around like Monopoly money. It's sickening. :argh:
