I love steamed broccoli. Asparagus and spinach are awesome as well.
A little butter over a hot pile of broccoli is awesome.

Melted nacho cheese or bearnaise sauce :yum:

I LOVE broccoli, cauliflower, brussell sprouts, spinach   :-)

Me too - I love most all vegies.  The only ones I hate are lima beans and rutabagas.

Thanks for the update; I guess "Mrs. Alfred Packer does Christmas" will be held off for release until much later, like after the mourning period.

Good idea.  She really seems like a nice gal.

I do broccoli the same way I do asparagus: steamed, with lemon juice and a few shakes of parmesan cheese.

She really seems like a nice gal.

Actually, no.

Mrs. Alfred Packer is a spiteful, venal, mean, intolerant bigot.

When I first saw Mrs. Alfred Packer some years ago, I was enthralled with her, infatuated with her, and in fact oftentimes posted here about what a remarkable person she was, what a good person she was.

But as time went on, I realized I had fallen for a fantasy, not the real thing.

It was that warpy thing all over again; I used to respect and admire the defrocked warped primitive--the evidence is right here, in the archives--but over time I had to do an about-face.

It's that Pollyanna aspect of franksolich's character; he always first looks upon people new to him in the best possible light, childishly believing that all people are good in heart.

And he hangs on to that perception for the longest time, with a near-superhuman tenacity.

In both real life and on the internet, when franksolich decides someone isn't as good as he had advertised them to be, it creates considerable discombobulation within myself, and shocked surprise in those around me--"Ah, he finally gets it."

Mrs. Alfred Packer is not a "nice gal."

I'm itching to release "Mrs. Alfred Packer does Christmas," but my own decency compels me to wait, until a decent interval for mourning is over.  One must, above all, remain a gentleman.

I dunno what a decent interval for mourning is; I'm assuming it's over when Mrs. Alfred Packer resumes her bashing of the decent and civilized people of Oklahoma, or of those people derived of the Celestial Kingdom.
