Spain in state of alert over air strike chaos
   
Source: BBC

The Spanish government has declared a state of alert after a strike by air traffic controllers grounded flights, stranding thousands of travellers.

The measure will allow widldcat strikers to be charged with a crime under the military penal code.

It is the first use of the law since it was created after the death of military ruler Gen Francisco Franco in 1975.

About half of the controllers are at their stations but most are refusing to work, in a dispute over working hours.

1) this is socialist Spain. Admired by the DUmbasses to repudiating Bush and capitalism

2) this far beyond the mere firing by uber-fascist Ronald Reagan


How ever shall they resolve this moral conundrum?

Do the DUmmies not realize that once they get the full blown socialism they so desire that they won't even be allowed to bitch and "do nothing". They'll be told to STFU and get back down in that ditch and dig.

No they do not,as all utopian short sighted folks do,they assume that all they like will stay the same only with extra goodies added on.

Well, they went back to work this afternoon.

The primitives alas avoided this campfire like the plague, perhaps seeing that it was already posted over here, and they didn't want their stupid remarks repeated.

By the way, that's an excellent way to douse a newly-lit campfire on Skins's island; franksolich does it all the time.
