Took my girls and a friend of my oldest daughter to see Harry Potter this afternoon.  They had the Beck trailer before the movie. Here in commie CA, can you believe it?!? Everyone cheered and screamed "All hail Beck" and made the heil Hitler sign. I was so proud.

Actually no one said anything. No cheers, no boos.....nothing. People laughed at the Cowboy and Aliens trailer though.

I have only known of one time I have seen two theaters near each other to walk to. One was a standard movie theater showing your everyday movies and across the street was a theater that showed porn. both of them have long been torn down and replaced with parking lots.

Brea has two theaters right next to each other but they are both Edwards Cinemas, they don't show the same movies.

Back in the 50's/60's my little town had 3 sit down movie houses and 3 drive in's. Now it's twice as big and has only one sit down theater that's barely hanging on by a thread.

And this would be a bad thing?

Nothing like steamed up windows, rocking an rollin at the old drive in double feature.  Of course they use to build an automobile with a back seat big enough to get................oh never mind, this would end up on the short bus.

Do you really need to encourage them to jerk off? :jerkit:

Well, if we convince them to waste their seed, that means there's that much less of it to create DUmmie spawn.

Hell, when the local chain went tits up here about a year ago, we didn't even have that.  Had to drive either to Barrington or Portsmouth to see a movie.

Or punch one up on the cable box.  Gee, what a shame.  Popcorn with as much butter (BUTTER, not that oil shit) on it, Cokes that aren't flat and watered down, candy that doesn't require a second mortgage, and no cell phones, screaming kids, or idiots trying to talk over the movie.

And they wonder why the theaters can't stay in business.

I'm taking Viv to see 'Tangled' this afternoon at a theater that usually does these kinds of events. I'll report back if any moonbat nutjobs walk out of the movie because of a Glenn Beck commercial.  ::)

They showed the ad twice, and both times I was looking around and waiting for some nutjob to start spewing hate about Beck. Then I remembered that 1) I live in a pretty red area and 2) DUmmies are ****ing liars.
