Prime Minister Cameron Unveils Strict Welfare Overhaul

Heard about this on the radio today.  Checked the forum, but didn't see a thread about it.

Filled with all sorts of riot inducing goodies.

LONDON — A day after central London was shaken by violent protests against government-decreed increases in college tuition, Prime Minister David Cameron’s administration braved a potential for further popular unrest on Thursday when it unveiled details of the biggest shake-up in Britain’s sprawling welfare system since the years immediately after World War II.

Those who refuse three consecutive job offers will lose their $100 per week checks.

The proposal, to take effect next year, would strip a $100-a-week job seekers’ allowance for up to three years from those who reject three consecutive job offers, with shorter suspensions for those refusing a first and second offer.

Amazing. Europe is moving away from the socialist systems which are bankrupting their economies, and Obama wants to move us closer to those failed ideologies.

Obama is stuck in the failed ideologies of the past. Dead ideas that are being thrown onto the trash heap of failed ideologies, just like Obama and his failed sycophants should be.

Anybody remember this? An Obama rally after his election....with the Sickle and Hammer being waved.

Something is seriously wrong when stupid kids think Communism is "hip". Let them spend a few years under communist rule, where every action is dictated by the state, from where you live to where you work and who is "acceptable" to love. Let them know what it's like for the state to come and take them in the middle of the night for expressing a thought contrary to the state and ship them off to a Gulag slave labor camp, never to return or even to have the right to communicate to their loved ones. Communism denigrates the individual to a number that is subservient to the state. It's Godless.
