Culture has a lot to do with it. Decades of warping schools to teach by methods that work best for girls has a lot to do with it. The fact that so many are ignorant of the problem, even
educators as my husband found out to his great shock, has a lot to do with it.
In Britain, they've tried an experiment. They **gasp** separated the sexes, and put boys in classes that were
very competitive. Scores in every class shot up...for ALL the boys. But if we tried that here, there would be idiots from leftist feminists to the ACLU suing from every direction.
