Oh my.

One suspects the non-monickered equine's trying to campaign for the TOP DUmmies [PRIMITIVES] OF 2010, but she's going to have to try harder than this, to even make it into the top twenty.

My view of the differences between us and them

First of all, in the face of narrow and indecisive victories...they immediately yell MANDATE!

Then proceed full steam ahead to spend their perceived political capital.

In the face of huge and decisive victories, we lay back and try to be bipartisan and fair and never take advantage of REAL mandates and huge amounts of political capital.

In the face of losing an election...Democrats sit back and try to regroup to figure out how we can EARN back the trust of the voters.

In the face of losing an election...republicans sit back and figure out how to scare people into voting for them so they can "take back" THEIR country.

I know there are many other differences...but for some reason, these are the ones that are the most visible to me today.

1. They never apologize, never take responsibility.

Our side is too quick to offer up apologies and take blame.

4. They don't just TALK about resorting to guns!

So many people including liberals think that conservatives are JOKING when they talk of falling back on "the second ammendment" option. May I call the attention of those who may be unaware of the history of conflicts between liberals and conservatives, here's WHY Congressman Anthony Weiner of New York recently warned that "Democrats need to stop bringing books to a knife fight."

Did the hot-dog congressman from New York get re-elected?  Anybody know?

Yes, he won, 59% to 41%.  He's an ass.

BTW, if you want to know the results for a specific person, you can look it up here Politics Daily Link

Kinda handy.  I looked up Col. Allen West, who I was rooting for, and found he got 54%.  Well done!

WTF is she smoking?  Narrow and indecisive?  It was a LANDSLIDE!

You know, I was watching a TV station out of Charlotte NC election night. They were running results for the state elections accross the bottom of the screen. Almost all of the state representatives elected were republicans and most won with  60+% of the vote.

For that to happen in the south in local elections....that's huge.
Muscular, ass kicking legs, huge.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

Yep a presidential win of 52/48 is what mandates are made of.

In case any DUchebag lurkers.  Wait until 2012 when 23 donks are up and the senate will flip to a filibuster proof senate. And the house gets another net 26 house seats.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
