Question: Is returned absentee ballot envelope acceptable?
I did something stupid. I mailed my absentee ballot without putting a stamp on it. It was returned, I put a stamp on it (two stamps, actually) and mailed it again.

I hope it's still acceptable. Is it still acceptable?

(Yeah, I voted despite my total disillusionment. Whatever.)

BTW, this is in California.

I hesitated to post this because I'm fully expecting to get flamed for something. I'm sure someone will find a reason. I don't come here much anymore because DU turned into a pit of vipers. Or maybe it always was and that's one of the reasons why I became so depressed. Since avoiding DU, I'm much happier. If you're as miserable as I was, leaving DU might be something to consider.

Before resorting to DU, I tried a Google search, but couldn't find the info I needed. So I'm here.

If you decide not to flame me, thanks in advance.

I'm glad she realized DU was a bad influence. There may be hope for her yet.

I had fully expected her to be not with us on earth anymore.  She always was just 10 seconds from suicide.  Especially since her state-paid therapist was a fundie freeper, in her mind.

Hey, neighbor--she may yet be 10 seconds from suicide, especially if the tsunami tomorrow is bigger than anyone expects.

Chase her.
Chase her even when she's yours.
That's the only way you'll be assured to never lose her.
