The White House is usually quite good at keeping a muzzle on the media after one of its off-the-record sessions with President Obama and senior members of his administration.

But not this week.

A group of black bloggers and journalists from outlets like Essence and BET were invited to the White House on Monday for a half-day of policy briefings by the president’s advisers. The White House provided the journalists with an agenda that spelled out the ground rules: the first half of their briefings was to be on background, meaning they could report any information they learned but not attribute it to any specific official; the second half was off the record entirely.

Still, that did not stop bloggers from writing about the event and, in one case, posting a video of the president’s remarks to the group....

OBAMA CENSORSHIP IN ACTION...

From the article...

Quote
The blog ConcreteLoop.com posted a clip shot by a blogger for www.theybf.com of Mr. Obama’s meet-and-greet with the journalists. In it, the president stressed the importance of White House outreach to black media, especially blogs with large black followings.

And when you click the link (which actually leads here: http://www.twitvid.com/UDZYB). Yeppers... DEEE-Leeted!!!

Rahm is gone, wonder who did this one...

It boggles the mind that 145 years after slavery was abolished IN THIS COUNTRY- it's still going strong in many places in this world, asshat lurking DUmbshits, including AFRICA-we continue to tolerate this division into ethnic tribes.
White Journalists Meeting=KKK
Black Journalists Meeting=AOK

Where's the solidarity and post racial unity Lord ****wad was supposed to fart out his ass come January 2009?
Sneaking into a country doesn't make you an immigrant any
more than breaking into someone's house makes you part of the family.

Boudicca, whatever do you mean?  Do you mean to say that it was other tribes in Africa that went into the jungles and captured other blacks to sell to the Arabs who in turn sold them to the whites who then took them to other countries, the "New World" included, to be slaves?   Shame on you for stating FACTS.  The myth that it was an "all white" conspiracy is not supposed to be dispelled.  Shame on you.

Pesky thing, those darn facts.
How about the fact that slavery has been around since the beginning of time and blacks don't have a lock on it as a grievance?
I swear if one didn't know better, one would suppose no other group in the history of mankind was ever enslaved except Africans. :whatever:

H+5 to both of you.

Besides those who owed their soul to the company store==

American Indians

French Canadians

White  English indentured servants

Children brought in from the city's for a summer of fun that returned to the city beaten, raped and worse off then when kindly farmers took them in.

Poles, German, Italian, Irish immigrants that worked an 18 hour day in sweat shops, Children as young as 3 cleaning the floors of weaving mills, Chinese building our railroads.

Today's slaves, those at this time will do anything to keep our jobs, those that must conform to government regulations that grow more demanding every day.

Slavery is in fact driven with fear, the inability to control ones life as they see fit.  There are no physical whips or chains today, slavery is now a control of fear, what a farmer can grow or sell, what one can or cannot manufacture in the foods we eat, no salt no fat .

We can no longer controll our children's education in public schools, in fact we cannot even teach or discipline our own kids without a government social worker giving a nod to us.

We are slaves to speech, what we can or cannot speak, what words we use that is in the dictionary that is now considered a Hate Crime at the Federal level.

Anyone in my area that read today's papers can tell you that one of the grounds to remove a 16 day old baby from their family is that the parents belonged to a political group.   The child was returned to the parents that most likely had in the past abused their other children but to place in the reasons for the removal a note that the parents held political views that were not popular with the state makes me cringe.
