WASHINGTON – Two weeks before Election Day, Democrats fear their grip on the House may be gone, and Republicans are poised to celebrate big gains in the Senate and governors' mansions as
I post this article because of this comment after it....~~~~~~~~~~~~~From Mike R

Three things you need to keep in mind with this article:

1) The Republicans are manufacturing dissent against the Democrats. Half the comments to this article were produced by professional dissenters on the Tea Party's payroll. The Tea Party is more focused with creating the ILLUSION of support than they are on actually acquiring it. The G.O.P. doesn't REALLY have that much support, nor are Obama's poll numbers REALLY that low.

2) The Republicans have no platform. Their only ambition is to HAVE power, not to do anything once they are in power except stall progress so that, in 2012, they can get MORE power.

3) The names that keep coming up as "at risk" Democrats are many of the same names listed when discussing the Democrats that were stalling the health care reform bill. The "Blue Dogs" -- Republicans PRETENDING to be Democrats -- are the only ones in "battleground" states at the moment.

Are the Republicans going to pick up some seats in November? Yes.
Are they going to pick up as many as they want to? Absolutely not.
Will the new balance between G.O.P. and D.N.C. matter for jack crap? No. :evillaugh:
Will the Republicans pretend it does? You better believe it!

The left always does this. When it is being shown that their candidates and their views aren't popular they go into full denial mode. They claim the polls are fixed that the GOP or now the tea party is paying people to stir up trouble. Yet when our side has a rally a ton of people show up. The left has a rally they have to bus people in and give out free stuff for people to show up. Then to top it off us people who hate the environment leave the place spotless, meanwhile the champions of mother Earth leave garbage for days.

They are running scared because they know the Tea Party is not just a few racist rednecks that will fade away after this election. Even if we do lose we will not stop and we will keep moving along until we can save this country from those who want to bring her down.

America was built by great people who took chances and made sacrifices that most of us can't even think about. This is a huge contrast to the whiners and complainers we have now who think that everything should be handed out for free. The settlers didn't sit around waiting for some politician to give them free food, housing, and health care. They went out and made better lives for themselves at great costs to many of them who died young but, still had the dream of American greatness. If liberals had settled America they would have died off or went back home the first winter.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.
