Psst!! Hey, guys, CNN is about to broadcast a piece on my medical cannabis case (!!!)
Edited on Thu Oct-14-10 01:52 PM by Fly by night
Good late morning, all y'all. I just got the call from a CNN producer that the profile of my medical marijuana case, and our efforts here in Tennessee to pass the Safe Access to Medical Cannabis Act, will be aired for the first time in less than three hours -- at 12:25 pm Eastern time to be exact. (It is also scheduled already to be repeated between 3-5 pm and likely will be re-aired later this evening and tonight.)

I will post a separate thread later today once a link to the CNN story is available -- likely around 3:00 pm. 'Til then, I wanted to give a "heads up" to my favorite on-line community in hopes that some of y'all can watch the "premiere" of the piece with me.

My life (at least the last eight years of it) in 2 minutes and 53 seconds of CNN time. Whew!

Need to go split some wood so I can avoid splitting in anticipation before the piece airs. The CNN crew spent two days with me and they also interviewed Senator Beverly Marrero (the Safe Access sponsor) and the widow of one of the people I helped. They have lots to work with -- it will be curious to see what they do with it.

OK, guys, that's my shameless self-promotion (for now). Hope some of you can catch the piece with me in less than three hours. (2 hours, 38 minutes ..., but who's counting.)

If we never stop fighting, we cannot lose.

I wonder if CNN knows they're profiling someone who gleefully participates in hate speech?
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Uh, this guy can split wood in order to prepare to watch himself on CNN, but he needs medical marijuana? I wonder if CNN will investigate the fraud?

I smell a dead skunk!

Well I guess all of 50 people will see his plight! I'll lay odds, they're all on weed right along with him!

Yep, I can see why CNN has the ratings they do by covering stories like this. Wonder if the OP will be stoned out of his mind (as usual) by airtime?

He doesn't use it, he just grows and distributes it.

I thought before he said he started out "for my own use" and then figured everybody and their brother "needed" it, so....... when he had more than he could use, he, cough, cough, just charged others a nominal fee.

Then, surprise, surprise, he got busted for distribution of a controlled substance and thinks the DEA is pickin' on him!

Sadly, Porp 19 getting out the youths maybe why Kalifornia puts Senator Maa'm and Mr. Moonbeam into office.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

It ain't gonna pass in Tennessee. The new Governor will be a Republican and will have a Republican controlled legislature.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

The fascination with DUmmies and their "medical" drugs. What a combo. :loser:
