School Shooting in Carlsbad, CA

CARLSBAD (CNS) - A seemingly deranged gunman carrying a can of gasoline, a propane tank and numerous rounds of ammunition opened fire into a crowd of students at a Carlsbad primary school Friday, leaving two children with apparently minor injuries before being tackled by witnesses

The shooting at Kelly Elementary was reported shortly after noon. The assailant climbed over a fence at the edge of the campus before starting to shoot, witnesses told reporters.

To make matters worse, I just heard Shep say that the gunman said something about the President either before or after he opened fire. Great...

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the children who attend Kelly Elem. No doubt they're freaked out.

Just a thought here.

We are slowly being taken out of the real world out there.

It is not just people like me with a physical problem that have to be house bound, we now need to do home schooling to keep our kids safe from this fear, drugs and over sexed teachers.

 Not just Little kids, one can now hide in the safety or what they believe is safety, their homes and get a college degree via computer and then work from home.

One can get their grocery's clothing, shoes and prescription med delivered to their home, bring in enough electronic games so the kids will want to stay inside and not take a chance on being kidnapped outside.

One can now talk to a doctor or Lawyer via PC, send pictures of health complaints or for a lawyer documents by FAX.

We can stay in shape with home gyms and swimming pools, and live without personal contact with another person out side the family in the home.

We can date on line, and have a hurry up meeting with a potential spouse, attending church services on TV, read the local news and order books from Books.

Hell, entire family's can now go from cradle to grave and never leave their home.  

All for safety and to protect the kids from monsters that walk among us.    Are we to trade our freedom for safety, seems like millions of people are doing just that.

Dag nab it we have to start making an example of those that keep others in a hidie hole.

I care not that this allegedly mental person is upset with Obama,or had a trying childhood. There are no excuses for those who go after children, strangers, or anyone that is minding their own business. I don't care if he has an IQ under 50, a drug problem or some kind of chemical imbalance.

Until we start making the penalty for those that destroy others lives very severe the number of them will keep growing in the world until only they will have freedom and the innocent will have to hide from them.

Why is it that we have no problem with Abortion of innocent lives but feel the need to support a grown adult monster for life.?
