On the day that Sarah Palin is giving a big speech in the key political state of Iowa, the White House announced that President Obama would head to Des Moines himself at the end of the month.Obama won't be giving a major address, though -- he'll be meeting with a middle-class family and having a chat with residents in a setting similar to his trip to northern Virginia this week. The White House says Obama will "continue his conversations" by talking with a family in Albuquerque on Sept. 28, and then going into the homes of the family in Des Moines and one in Richmond, Va., on Sept. 29."Throughout the summer, President Obama has met with families to listen to their concerns and to discuss specific ways to jumpstart job creation and strengthen the middle class," the White House said in the announcement.
