Hmmmmmmm.

I believe that $20.00 a month is more like per week, for simple laborers, but the pay has to be much higher for all the people that get free education.

 So working on that idea a worker has $80.00 a month to spend on themselves.  They have little need for personal money as Rum is very cheap.

Cubans have large family's and the kids stay close to family.  A shack up in the hills with 5 adults working will bring in enough money to exist, buy the kids school cloths and a bike or two. The non working family members will plant gardens and raise chickens and hogs, perhaps a cow, and be able to get  a TV, fridge and stove .

Is this not a Liberals idea of heaven.?----Free education, free housing, free medical care, nearly free transportation, Lord instant climax for those that demand we go the way of Cuba.

If this life is so wonderful to them, why are not  all sitting in row boats for Cuba.  Heck it is only 90 miles away from our shore.

Our Libs should be storming the beachers trying to get into Cuba.

I think Castro died a few years ago.  His body double is just starting feel freer.  Either that or he has become a victim of his own system now that he has stepped down.

Hi,

Limbaugh had a different take on this one and I agree with him.  Castro needs money so he needs the embargo lifted.  He made that remark in order to get BO and the libs to lift the embargo.  The fact he says it is not working is pure BS, it is working for him and has all along.  He just is positioning BO and the idiots to lift the embargo.

Any idea that he saw the light to me is bogus.....  until he is willing to step down and have legitimate free elections keep the damn embargo in place and enforce it.  Was not that many years ago he once again begged Russia to nuke the US.

The world economy is awful.  I can't imagine Castro is able to trade much for the things he needs.
