Fast & Furious driver tries to run over cop, now in hiding

Police say a Fairport man is a fast and furious fugitive. Investigators claim they clocked him going 100 miles an hour and said he lead them on three high speed chases. Police say in one of those chases -- he tried to run over a cop.

His name is Erik Holtz. He is 25 years old. Police say he is in hiding and they want anyone who knows where he is to convince Holtz to turn himself in.

One witness said he saw Holtz nearly hit the police officer – he came within inches. The officer had his gun drawn. The only reason he didn't shoot is that there was a 17-year-old girl in the passenger seat.

It all happened in front of Robert Remington's house and in the middle of his cul-de-sac Erik Holtzsat Erik Holtz. He was wanted by police after a high speed chase. Eventually -- the police tracked him to the cul-de-sac and tried to block him in. Remington said, “He turned on his car and put it in reverse at about 50mph, roasting the tires.”

Holtz was last seen in a Mitsubishi Lancer that neighbors describe as being grey in color.

Vesta - Growing up in the "import world" I can tell you that the little boys get their boring cars like all of us, a car loan.  But when it comes to modifications, they max out all of their credit cards for some stupid part that adds 10 HP.  It's so lame.  These import boys have the biggest f-ing egos in the world too.  It's so funny to knock them down a few pegs.
