Uh Oh. More poetry.

It rhymes.  I don't think this is going to go well.

Birds From Your Heart a poem by Steerpike
 Birds from your Heart
by *MichaelOrtega

What secret leaves your heart?
The wings of passion fleeting pass...
Is it craft or is it art,
required to make love last?

Fatigue passes, leaves light faded
your hair lays softly over your eyes...
blinds your soul and leaves you jaded
unbinding long bound ties

If ever you look up to the skies
and talk to birds as they fly
forget all the tears and the lies
remember, love only works when you try...

There are quite a few more posted in the Lounge today.

Should this stuff be considered poetry, or should it be called "random words on a page"?

It should be called cruel and inhumane punishment.  They need to do DUmmy poetry readings at Gitmo.

Th wars would be over, and we'd be able to our citizens would be able to rest easy for the next decade knowing that our intelligence on terrorist threats would be increased ten fold.

I found a random sentence generator here.  I'll give it a try, and you tell me what you think:

flowers into his
crisp leaf.

A criminal staggers
inside a breeze.

The tunnel volunteers
the nominated greed
outside the refund.

The syndrome flowers
without a power.

A solicitor purges near the goodbye!
The due campaign barks
throughout the console.
Near an oriented poetry
responds the distant noise.
A ridden fluid takes the fool.

:rotf: This is quite entertaining. Thanks Hymn.

I crap better poetry than that.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

I hope you guys are copyrighting these.

Frank will probably be by shortly to snatch up some of our tomes for his next installment he mails off to the Watch Tower.

He is giving Calpig 85% of the profits off of her grunt sculptures.  I should think to expect at least the same terms.

It should be called cruel and inhumane punishment.  They need to do DUmmy poetry readings at Gitmo.

More effective than waterboarding, and DUmmies will object less.

Let the DUmmies read their own poetry to the prisoners, to actually see and smell them, will stop the jihadist movement dead in its tracks....
