Seven Thumbs up for Blue Ray and HD TVs!!!!

We just had to replace the whole entertainment shebang because of a power surge or something that messed it all up.  We decided on a 52" LCD Sony with a Sony Blue Ray player.  The picture and the colors are so wonderful you feel like you can reach into the screen and touch them!  Who knew that actors and actresses had such bad skin!??!  Actors I used to find hot are now like  :o . WOW!

Kudos on the new toys.   

If I didn't owe $1000 in taxes, I might buy a new HDTV for myself.  :p

We bought a 52" LCD Toshiba before Christmas...and bought the HD DVD player...only to now learn that BluRay beat out the HD DVD players  :whatever:

The TV is great, though.

I was freaked out by how BIG the people were on the TV when we got our first big screen  :o

Tony Soprano was entirely TOO big!

Enjoy the new toys, Mama.    They sound NICE!  :)

I would love to get an HD tv one of these days.  I even have one picked out already, but it will have to wait until the current tv is removed of all that ratings equipment that's currently got it in a stranglehold.
